Heat

One thing I don’t get on with is heat. This weather is way too warm for me to cope with happily. It was worse down at the caravan than it is here in Scotland but still way too hot for me. I have never understood sun worshippers. Shade is what I need in the sun and these days preferably with air conditioning.

Life turns bizarrely on a pin head sometimes. At the moment my life has been occupied with Dentists for J and now hospital for her Dad and of course Sarah in Costa Rica - never mind the ordinary things of Adam and his Mum and all the other family things.

I am as far as possible in constant touch with Costa Rica. I am writing a daily private blog for Sarah full of the minutiae of life for us here so that she misses nothing. It is my little promise to her and it is a place she can go to if she feels at all in need of home news or feels even a tad homesick.

For just now this blog has to take a backseat.

We've had a few hot days but for the most part are still cooler than usual. I do enjoy the sun to a point, but when temps rise I find the shade inviting too. After the cold icy winter I thought I'd never warm up again, but I have. It sounds like very busy days at your house. I'm glad you are keeping your Sara in contact with home. It means alot sometimes. Hi Stuart, you were put into my spam don't know why good job I checked. Over here we have not had a blink of sun since last Thursday just mist and drizzle not cold but feel we are missing the summer. Have been reading Sara's blog from Costa Rica think she is enjoying herself on her great adventure. Love Joan

Yes, Stuart, I'm with you. Hate the heat, and the added irritation og Wimbledon. After a pig of a day yesterday was looking forward to a laugh with the Supersizers, and what did I get? Crimewatch, shunted over because of tennis.
Sarah is very good in her role; what a good idea to whack some homelife back to her!
